Privacy notice and referral fees
Last updated: 28 September 2026
This notice explains what personal data heatprotectionsolutions.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. The site has no analytics, no cookies, no local storage and no third-party scripts or fonts.
Who is responsible
The controller is Humanity Solutions, practising as Foresight-Transitions, KvK 71110178, Hamerstraat 67D, 2512 CX The Hague, the Netherlands. For any privacy question or request, email connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net.
What we collect through the contact form
The form does not send anything from this website. When you press “Open email draft”, your own email app opens a draft to connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net containing what you typed. You see the draft and decide whether to send it.
- Client form: your first and last name, organisation, role (optional), work email, what you would like to discuss, your main heat concern and what you tell us about your facility. The topic and which button brought you to the form appear in the subject line.
- Vendor form: your name, work email, company, product category, the region you serve and your message (optional).
If you email us directly, we receive what you write and your email address.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
We use your details only to reply to you, set up an intro conversation and, if you want one, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general questions that are not about an assignment, the basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use your details for newsletters or marketing, and we do not sell them. For vendors, we use your details to assess whether an introduction could fit and, if so, to agree terms with you.
Who processes it for us
- Google (Google Workspace): hosts the mailbox connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net, where your email arrives.
- Hostinger: hosts this website. Like most web servers, it keeps technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, time and page requested) to run and secure the site.
Transfers outside the EU
Google is a US company, so email data may be processed in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google LLC is certified, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses in Google’s data processing terms.
How long we keep it
Inquiries are deleted 12 months after our last contact unless they lead to an assignment. In that case we keep what tax and bookkeeping law requires (7 years) and delete the rest 2 years after the assignment ends. Hosting logs are kept by Hostinger for a limited period to run and secure the site.
Introductions to vendors
We pass your details to a vendor only after you agree to that specific introduction. Once introduced, the vendor handles your data under its own privacy terms.
How we earn: referral fees
You pay Humanity Solutions for the Future alignment scan (€880, listed on humanitysolutions.net) or for a heat-risk assessment, which we quote in writing before any work starts.
If you choose to buy from a vendor we introduced, that vendor may pay Humanity Solutions a referral fee. The fee is paid by the vendor and does not change the price you pay. This is how we handle it:
- We tell you before you decide whether a vendor we suggest pays us a referral fee.
- Where more than one suitable option exists, we show you at least two.
- Our assessment and advice do not depend on who pays us. You are free to buy from any vendor, including ones we did not introduce.
- Referral terms with vendors are agreed in writing before any introduction.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email connectwithus@humanitysolutions.net. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
